Program 1 — Haydn 200th Memorial Observation
In observation of the 200th anniversary of the composer’s death (May 31, 1809), the Daedalus Quartet is pleased to offer performance of what are widely considered the first masterworks of the string quartet genre, Haydn’s Op. 20.  This program is approximately 120 minutes of music; a long (for example dinner-length) intermission is suggested.

This program features works marking the Haydn 200th memorial, the Mendelssohn 200th anniversary, and the Carter centenary.

These custom-designed one to three day residencies may include the following components:

·    A Diagnosis of the “Serioso” Quartet (which suffers from Tourette Syndrome!)
·    Piano Puzzlers, Adolphe’s popular Performance Today feature
